Novatto Granada Copper Bathroom Sink And Oil Rubbed Bronze Strainer Drain Bathroom Sinks

SKU: MMHCHUR56427

The Granada drop-in sink with an antique finish is one of Novatto’s most popular copper sinks. It’s a great combination of vessel design with undermount functionality. Each sink is hand-hammered from recycled copper and built by our skilled artisans. Through years of experience passed down from previous generations, the end result is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Made from 16 gauge copper, this round sink sits above the counter two inches for a unique luxurious design. Copper has a soft look and is amazingly easy to maintain. Fingerprints do not show as they will on stainless steel and other metals. For basic cleaning, simply use soap and water. Copper has a “living finish” and its patina will continue to develop character over time, meaning it may become a richer, darker color. Due to the handcrafted nature of this sink, it will vary in appearance, finish, texture, and hammering. Also the dimensions may vary up to 1/4-inch. We strongly suggest you receive the actual piece before making any installation cuts. Included with the sink is Novatto’s 19 hole strainer drain (STD-ORB), constructed of solid brass for strength and durability. Finished in oil rubbed bronze, the drain assembly has two rubber seals, a plastic spacer, and brass fastener. Made with the highest standards of quality and creative design, Novatto sinks add artful function and charm to any bathroom. Just add water and enjoy Novatto’s lifetime limited warranty. Supreme packaging and boxing ensure damage-free delivery.

What is an Overflow:An overflow is a small hole in the back of the sink that prevents the sink from overflowing. When the sink is full of water, this hole allows air to circulate to the drain so the water can drain more quickly.

How to Install:First, lower the sink into the countertop hole to check that it fits and the rim connects with the counter while the bowl is completely inside. Then, remove the sink and connect the drain to the inside of the sink. This will make it easier to connect your sink and drain to the plumbing. Next, apply a 0.25" layer of silicone around the sink cutout in the counter, and then carefully place the sink back into the cutout and clean up any excess silicone pushed out with a paper towel. Lastly, install sink clips under the counter and ensure that the drain, p-trap, and supply lines are correctly connected.

What is a P-Trap:A p-trap holds water to prevent sewer gases from entering the home through the drain. It also traps debris that has drained from the sink to prevent the plumbing system from being clogged.
